The First Reveal

“The First Reveal” is about the moment something begins to show itself for the first time; not completely, not perfectly, but enough to be felt.
When I created this piece, I wanted it to feel more organic and less controlled from the outside. The shape flows freely, almost like something alive or still forming. But inside that freedom, there’s structure. The patterns are carefully calculated and built in sections, which reflects the contrast I often feel between emotion and logic, instinct and control.
Being the largest piece I’ve created so far also made it feel important to me personally. It became less about making something decorative, and more about allowing an idea to fully take space for the first time.
The golden centre acts almost like a quiet reveal within the chaos; a presence you discover gradually. For me, it represents the part of ourselves, or our ideas, that slowly emerge after being hidden, shaped, or carried internally for a long time.
