Home is more than a place; it is a memory carried through culture, pattern, and identity. In this work, I merge geometric elements rooted in my heritage with my contemporary artistic language. The structured patterns reference tradition, while the modern composition reflects my present perspective.

The geometric forms rise through the composition like a growing structure, symbolising foundations that continue to shape identity over time. In contrast, the shifting black-and-white field introduces movement and transformation, reflecting the evolving nature of memory and personal experience. The gold elements act as moments of connection, markers of value, history, and belonging.

Through this dialogue between past and present, Rooted explores how our sense of home is shaped by both origin and the ongoing process of change.
